Gabriel entered the sector in 2016 at a London-based boutique investigations firm. There he led litigation support and asset tracing matters, including multiple instructions from African banks seeking to enforce personal guarantees in the UK.
Other recent work includes tracing the proceeds of a £20m fraud invested in property developments across the UK and probing Bermuda trusts used to frustrate creditors. In 2018, Gabriel travelled to the Sahel to gather intelligence on the telecoms sector for an international investor. At Raedas he works across a range of jurisdictions but with a particular focus on Latin America and Southern Europe.
He was born in São Paulo, Brazil and has lived in France and Spain.
