Rob has nearly eight years’ experience living and working in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, and draws on extensive local knowledge of these jurisdictions in his casework. Prior to joining Raedas he worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon investigating violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law and advising on regional political matters.
During his time with the ICRC, Rob honed skills in source development and interviewing in high-pressure contexts. He has extensive experience in gathering information relevant to human rights issues from politically exposed persons, as well as in analysis and case building using open source material.
Rob has worked for other humanitarian organisations including Action Against Hunger, Save the Children and ACTED.
