Raedas are pleased to announce the hire of forensic accountant and accounting expert witness David Lawler.

David has over 30 years’ experience advising claimants and defendants in high profile disputes across a variety of sectors. Trained as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, David worked as Managing Director of Kroll’s EMEA Financial Investigations team until 2020.

David specialises in assessing consequential losses, gains, and values and tracing financial assets.  He is regularly instructed as an advisor and expert in complex disputes involving financially distressed and growth companies, allegations of wrongdoing including fraud and white-collar crime, and accounting controversies.

A prominent figure in forensic accounting, David has led teams in both boutique and international firms to carry out financial reviews throughout the world, including Europe and the US, East and Central Asia, Russia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Australia.

David has received plaudits from Chambers and Partners who acknowledged him in 2020 as a “leading individual” in the UK, and from Who’s Who Legal who say of David “a “superb expert” who keeps “on top of every detail”. He is a published author on the topic of Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
