Simon is a seasoned Chief Finance Officer and non-executive director with extensive experience in rapid growth businesses. He is a specialist in M&A having completed over 230 deals, raising equity and debt finance and building high performance finance and operational functions. At Raedas he works closely with the Partners, advising on the company’s growth, management, budgeting and forecasting and other strategic financial and human capital considerations.

Simon was a founder and CFO of Tribal Group plc, a multi-disciplined international support service FTSE company. He helped Tribal Group grow through both organic and acquisition led strategies. At its peak, Tribal Group had a turnover in excess of £250m. Prior to that he worked for Securicor Plc and two private high growth PE backed companies. Simon trained and spent 13 years at KPMG where he specialised in audit and transaction services including two secondments to Australia.

Simon currently leads an active portfolio businesses and co-founded Benula Capital, a private investment company active in the HR capital and recruitment sector. He is chairman, non-executive director or senior board adviser of six other private companies that operate in the professional support service, consulting, recruitment and IT sectors.

Simon studied Economics and Accountancy at Reading University.
