Raedas tops Chambers 2020 investigations rankings

Elizabeth Anscombe

Raedas have been awarded Chambers and Partners’ only Band 1 ranking for Litigation Support: Investigations this year and have achieved a Band 2 ranking for Asset Tracing & Recovery (Investigations) global – the highest position awarded to investigations firms in the directory’s 2020 listing.

Our individual investigators are also highlighted by Chambers, with each of our founding partners achieving top rankings across both categories.

Andrew Wordsworth and Nicholas Bortman received the only Band 1 rankings awarded to individuals by Chambers for Litigation Support: Investigations, while Joana Rego was recognised as a ‘Spotlight Individual’ in Asset Tracing & Recovery. The trio were praised by clients for their creative “quasi-lawyer-investigator” approach to investigations, strategic advice, and for achieving fast results.

The rankings acknowledge the firm’s “sober analysis” and successes in supporting complex, big ticket, and high stakes disputes across CIS, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

“What sets Raedas apart” says one lawyer “is that they live and practice a true specialism in litigation…they are strategists as well as investigators.”
